About Fjord Line

Fjord Line is a modern and public-minded shipping company focusing on safe and pleasant transportation between Norway and the European continent. We operate the passenger vessel "MS Bergensfjord" and the fast ferry "Fjord Line Express" In addition to passenger traffic we also have adequate capacity for goods and vehicle transport. We have departures between Bergen and Stavanger, Norway, and Hirtshals in Denmark and Kristiansand, Norway and Hirtshals - all part of a market in rapid growth.

It is our aim that when travelling with Fjord Line, the journey shall be a pleasant and comfortable experience. On board "MS Bergensfjord" we can offer cabins of good standard, tasty meal service, live music and a wide array of tax-free products. 

On "Fjord Line Express" which sails between Kristiansand and Hirtshals in the summer, is quick passage in comfortable chairs our most important asset.

Fjord Line was founded in 1993. Our long term ambition is to cater for 15% of all passenger traffic at sea between Norway and foreign countries, as well as having a solid economical structure. A healthy economy is necessary to give our guests and cargo customers a safe, punctual and environmentally friendly mean of transportation – at a quality level that is required and expected by our travellers. Our promise to you is that travelling with Fjord Line should cost you just about enough – not a penny more.
