For the very youngest passengers
No-one should ever be bored on board with us - neither grown-ups nor children. That's why it's important for us to make that extra effort for our youngest passengers during the school holidays.
Whatever time of year you travel with us, we organise a treasure hunt on board the ship. There’s also dedicated children areas on both Deck 7 and outdoors on Deck 10.
Play Area on Deck 7
Children have their own play area with fun games and activities on deck 7. Seating is close by, and nearby is also the cafeteria, our We Proudly Serve Cafè and our new shop with clothes and accessories.
Play boat on Deck 10
Outside on deck 10 you can find our mini version of «MS Stavangerfjord» – a child friendly copy of the original ship, specially made for the youngest family members. Here kids can slide, climb, explore, see, and feel. There is soft matting around the ship to help protect against hard landings.
During the Norwegian school holidays, we make sure to organize a little extra fun for our younger passengers. It needs to feel like a holiday for the little ones too!
Extra fun during the Norwegian school holidays
So everyone who wants to, can join in our drawing competition. Children can also play bingo alongside the grown-ups and win good prizes from the gifts table – and they can have their face painted in the most imaginative and colorful designs. And of course, our resident «clown» who can do the funniest things with balloons will also join in the fun. We’ll also hand out our fun activity books to anyone that wants one. Free of charge, of course.
Come and meet Fjordy during school holidays
Fjordy is the children’s friend and children love the gentle character, who is also known as “the happiest lobster in the sea”. He’s great for cuddles and is always up for photos and selfies. And he always takes the kids along on a treasure hunt round the ship, conjuring up a few magic tricks along the way.
Fjordy has his very own song, which the kids love to sing and dance along to:
See you on board Fjord Line!
