The crossing is fast and straightforward – and with a little planning both you and your dog can enjoy a comfortable journey. Here is everything you need to know. Please note that the car deck is locked throughout the entire journey and you have no way of visiting your dog on your own. In certain cases, and only if the crew has the capacity, a crew member may be able to accompany you to the car. **In summer we recommend not leaving your dog in the car**, as it can get very warm on the car deck. The aft deck is a much better alternative during this period. ### Aft deck and dog area by the aft deck If you'd prefer to have your dog with you during the crossing, you're welcome to bring them to the aft deck and the dog area by the aft deck. This is a great option – particularly in summer – and allows you to keep an eye on your dog throughout the journey. Dogs are not permitted in any other areas of the ship. ## Remember food and water bowls Always bring your own food and water bowls for your dog on the journey. ## Ready to book?
