At Vrådal Panorama Ski Centre you can rent cabins and flats of a good standard and in different sizes - perfect for a weekend trip with the family or a ski holiday with a group of friends.

The cabins and flats are located in the ski centre's area, and the majority are within walking distance of the ski centre, ski rental, café and kiosk, so it is here where you should spend the night if you walk directly out of the door and onto the slopes!

All cabins and flats are privately owned, so the furniture and facilities can vary a bit. The following are standard for all of them: kitchen, living room with dining area and sleeper sofa as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. The kitchen has a stove with an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machine.

Vrådal Panorama's 50 cabins form a charming holiday area with a mix of holiday apartments all built in norwegian cabin style and with spectacular views over Vrådal.

The cabins are privately owned and hence individually fitted out, but what they have in common is that they are arranged with a combined kitchen/living room with an area for dining and a sofa niche, and have at a minimum one bath and toilet. The cabins are available for 4-10 persons, and many have two storeys with a balcony As soon as you step inside, you are enveloped by the mood from the rustic cabin walls and the traditional furniture, which invite comfort and intimacy.

Just outside the door, there are fantastic outdoor experiences beckoning you in the mountains, the forest and on nearby Lake Nisser. The children can cavort in the playground and the family's fishing enthusiasts can visit the area's fishing pond. The town of Vrådal is located only 4 km away from the area with the cabins and offers a host of experiences, ranging from fjord cruises with the vintage boat M/S Fram to 9 holes of golf at Fossøy as well as a supermarket for provisions.

Vrådal is also perfectly situated in relation to most towns in southern and eastern Norway and thus is an obvious base for both nearby outdoor experiences as well as day trips to the area's many natural and cultural attractions.

The family-owned hotel offers 125 comfortable and excellently fitted-out rooms, ranging from single rooms to family rooms and to demi suites and rooms in a traditional style. The ”old” part of the hotel offers a host of charming common areas with wooden walls, traditional Norwegian furniture and collector's objects, which together provide the hotel with a completely special atmosphere.

At the Straand Hotel, the guests are always at the centre and the personnel make your experience a treat, whether it is in the restaurant, dance floor area, piano bar, pub, banquet hall or the old coffee rooms. And if your day starts best with a good round of exercise, you naturally have access to the hotel's heated pool, sauna and fitness area.

The hotel is perfectly placed in the middle of beautiful Vrådal, which offers a host of activities for adults and children alike. Lake Nisser is right outside your door. It can be experienced on the vintage boat M/S Fram, in a canoe, row boat or cycleboat. Straand Sommerland is a few hundred metres away from the hotel, with offerings for children and children-at-heart, and at Fossøy in Nisser gold enthusiasts can play 9 holes surrounded by forests, mountains and lakes.
