Your journey begins in Hirtshals, sailing towards Kristiansand. You can choose between the fast Fjord FSTR or a comfortable cruise ship with good food and a relaxed crossing. Either way, you can look forward to an efficient and flexible ferry crossing with several daily departures.
From Kristiansand, the drive continues through the beautiful Setesdal valley, where the landscape gradually changes from gentle forests to majestic mountains. After around 3.5 hours, you arrive in Hovden – a cosy mountain village 800 metres above sea level, surrounded by spectacular nature. Your cabin, hotel room or apartment is ready: warm, spacious and perfect for family time.
