Travelling green between Denmark and Norway

MS Stavangerfjord and MS Bergensfjord operate on dual-fuel engines and prioritise LNG propulsion, which eliminates sulphur oxide emissions and reduces CO₂ compared to conventional marine diesel. Fjord Line was the first company in the world to put a cruise ferry into service exclusively on LNG in 2013.

Fjord FSTR is designed for low energy consumption per passenger, producing lower CO₂ emissions per passenger than conventional ferries on the same route.
