On board Fjord FSTR, everything is designed to ensure a comfortable crossing between Kristiansand and Hirtshals – whether you’re travelling by car, with children, or with your dog. You’ll find charging stations for electric vehicles, dedicated areas for passengers travelling with dogs, and a family-friendly section at the rear of the ship close to the deck. And when the weather allows, you can enjoy fresh sea air and panoramic views from the sun deck – perfect for a little break along the way.

Charge your car during the crossing

On board the Fjord FSTR, we have charging stations available that can be used for a small additional charge. You can choose this option during the booking process.

• There are 16 type 2 chargers (supplying up to 22 kWh of alternating current)
• You need to bring your own cable (we recommend Type 2, with 32A)
• When you board, we will direct you to the charging station
• If you have an electric cars and have booked fast charging, you must arrive at check-in 60 minutes before departure
• The charging stations are accessible for cars with a maximum height of 1.95 m.

Dog on board

You can bring your dog, and there are designated areas where the dog can stay. The dog can either be in the car during the crossing, you can take it up on the aft deck, or bring the dog and sit with it within the play area.

On holiday with the family

If you’re travelling with small children, it’s a good idea to find a spot right at the stern of the ship, where there is a dedicated area especially suited to the littlest ones. It also has immediate access to the deck, which can be a great way to give restless children a way to burn off some energy. If you’re travelling with a dog, you’ll need to stay in this area with your dog.

The wind in your hair

Weather permitting, it’s always refreshing to go out on deck, feel some wind in your hair and gaze out to the horizon. On board the Fjord FSTR, you have access to the deck at the full stern of deck 3 and on deck 4. But remember that Fjord FSTR is speedy, so hold onto your hat!

On our ships, free internet is offered to all guests during the crossing. Please note that internet quality may vary at sea.
