New: Weather guarantee for cruises – book with peace of mind

Planning a cruise in autumn or winter can feel a little uncertain when you don’t know what the weather will be like. Now you can purchase a weather guarantee together with your cruise, allowing you to move the trip to a new date if you wish. The guarantee costs €20 per person.

What the weather guarantee includes

• The weather guarantee must be purchased at the same time as the cruise and cannot be added later. It must be purchased for all passengers on the booking.
• The price is €20 per person. (Free of charge for children up to 3 years.)
• The weather guarantee entitles you to one complimentary rebooking to a new departure date, subject to availability of the originally booked products.
• Rebooking must be made no earlier than 72 hours and no later than 24 hours prior to the originally booked departure. Outside of this period, ordinary terms apply, cf. section 3.1.1 Travel and Purchase Terms – Fjord Line.
• The new departure date must be chosen within the deadline and fall within the validity period of the product you have booked.
• If you rebook to a more expensive departure, cabin category etc., you must pay any differences in price.
• If you rebook to a cheaper alternative, the price difference will not be refunded. Some products and offers may be unavailable on the new date.
• The weather guarantee does not entitle you to cancel your ticket against a full or partial refund, or to postpone the trip indefinitely.
• Rebooking must be made via Fjord Line's customer service on +47 51 46 40 99 during office hours. In order to retain your rights, you will need to notify us about any changes even if our customer service centre is closed. Please make sure to send an email to info@fjordline.com before the amendment deadline for your weather guarantee expires.
