Gausta Activity Centre - Lots of fun activities for young and old
Gausta Activity Centre offers a wide range of activities – from guided mountain tours to rowing boat hire and fun for the kids.
Gausta Aktivitetssenter is centrally located just opposite Gausta Høyfjellshotell. Here, family water dogs can rent canoes, rowboats, mini scooters or SUP boards for a trip on Kvitåvatn. If you're more of a land–based adventurer, but don't feel like venturing into the mountains on your own, you can book guided hikes with local guides.
If you're travelling with children aged 6–12, the activity centre offers a range of activities with experienced leaders – from fun water activities to cycling challenges, trips for 'wilderness heroes' and art workshops where children can get creative with natural materials. All guides have extensive experience in the outdoors and have both an educational background and first aid and wilderness courses.
The activities can be booked online in advance (no later than by 12.00 the day before you want a place).
