On the ground floor, you’ll find Sølvsmedtunet, where silversmith Astrid Søftestad practices traditional Telemark craftsmanship. You can witness the entire fascinating process, from hammering out the silver to the creation of a unique piece of jewelry. Perhaps you’ll even find a special Christmas gift for a loved one!

But the real magic happens in the loft above the silver workshop: Nisseloftet. Here, it’s Christmas all year long, with the attic packed with figurines of every shape and color. From here, you can also send a Christmas card with a special stamp from Santa Claus in Nissedal. Write your cards anytime throughout the year and send them in December to ensure they arrive just in time for Christmas!
