A fjord cruise on Lysefjorden is a once-in-a-ifetime experience. The cruise takes you, among other things, past Preikestolen and Kjerag, beautiful waterfalls and dramatic cliffs.
Sirdal is only around one hour from one of the most beautiful places in Norway: Lysefjorden. If you don't fancy the hike to the top of Preikestolen or Kjeragbolten – or just want to see the iconic cliffs from a whole new angle – head to Lysebotn and board a fjord cruise that takes you through the 42–kilometre fjord.
Here you can sit back on deck or in the boat's cosy saloon and enjoy panoramic views of a veritable pearl of natural experiences: from the fabled Fantahålå Cave, past Hengjanefossen, where you can get so close you can taste the fresh mountain water of the waterfall, to the absolute highlight of the trip: the majestic Preikestolen, which at 604 metres towers high above the crystal–clear waters of Lysefjord.
The fjord cruise takes a total of three hours, and you can choose either to sail round–trip or bring the car and drive the return trip from Lauvvik to Sirdal.
